Dog Daycare Assistant

Duties Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to promote safe interactions and prevent conflicts Assist with dog handling, including guiding dogs on walks and managing their movements within the facility Support basic dog training activities to encourage good behavior and socialization Provide pet grooming, feeding, and hydration as needed throughout the day Restrain and handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for animals and staff Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including kennels, play areas, and grooming stations Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and care needs Assist veterinary technicians or veterinary assistants with animal care tasks when required Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with larger dogs Experience Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, pet sitting, or pet care setting preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling best practices essential Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is highly valued Familiarity with pet grooming, pet sitting, or animal restraint techniques is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Prior experience in veterinary or kennel environments helps ensure confidence in managing various animal behaviors Join us in making every day rewarding for dogs and their owners!
