Job Description
Trinity School for Children , a well-established early childhood program in Tampa celebrating 26 years , is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We provide a premier educational experience for children ages infant through Pre-K and value strong family partnerships, community engagement, and teacher development.
Shift:
Lead Teacher working hours are 7:15am-3:15pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; Tuesdays 7:15am-3:45pm for staff meetings, training, and/or team meetings.
Position Summary :
Lead Teachers plan and implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment. In this role, you will support the development and daily care of young children in an early childh classroom.
Essential Functions:
Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate discipline Maintain constant supervision and safety of children Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators Maintain a clean, organized classroom Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and trainings Our Approach to Behavior Support Trinity implements Program Wide Positive Behavior Support (PWPBS) using the Pyramid Model , an evidence-based framework that promotes social-emotional development and prevents challenging behavior in young children. Teachers receive ongoing training and coaching from our PBS Leadership Team.
