Responsibilities Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom environment. Provide attentive caregiving by feeding, diapering, and comforting children as needed throughout the day. Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering independence and positive behavior through gentle guidance and behavior management techniques. Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on each child's progress and address any concerns proactively. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, health incidents, and developmental milestones in compliance with licensing standards. Support inclusive education by adapting activities for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring every child feels valued and supported. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is essential. Familiarity with classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers will help you excel in this nurturing role.
