For more than 35 years, Premier Academy has provided a nurturing, play-based learning environment where children develop a lifelong love of learning. We are a small private school with low teacher-to-student ratios, beautiful outdoor learning spaces, and a supportive team that values collaboration and strong relationships with children and families. Position Details Full-time position School hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Schedule will include a combination of earlier shifts (ending approximately 3:20 PM) and closing shifts (ending at 5:00 PM) Follows a traditional school-year calendar, including school holidays and breaks Summer camp program with flexibility based on program staffing needs. Responsibilities Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment Support children's academic, social, and emotional growth Maintain accurate records and track student progress Communicate effectively with parents and team members Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration Required Qualifications Minimum age of 18 High School Diploma or equivalent Florida 45-Hour DCF Training CDA or Florida Staff Credential CPR and First Aid Certification Experience working with children ages 1-7 Strong communication and classroom management skills Professional, organized, punctual, and dependable Team-oriented with a positive attitude Reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field Additional experience in preschool or private school settings What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Employer-paid virtual healthcare benefit, including access to medical consultations and free prescriptions after 90 days Paid time off after 90 days Paid sick leave after 90 days Monthly health stipend after 90 days 401(k) retirement plan Small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios Established private school serving Central Florida families for more than 35 years Collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development We are looking for an educator who is dependable, positive, team-oriented, and committed to creating a nurturing environment for children, families, and coworkers.
