This position will ensure adherence to our mission of bringing the best and most trusted in early childhood education and child care services to families we serve. We are seeking an individual who is energetic, organized, a problem solver, and possesses great communication skills. This individual needs to be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of our next generation. Adora Early Learning Academy is a private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to provide classroom coverage as needed, including staff breaks, absences, or other staffing needs. Provide superior customer service to all external and internal teachers, children and families Observes all rules and regulations at Adora Early Learning Academy and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children Assist the Directors with the necessary management responsibilities Maintain regulatory health and safety files such as student immunizations and campus environment safety checks Knowledge of and adheres to employment laws and compliance issues related to those laws Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe Drive the 14-passenger bus for after-school pick-up as needed Ability to provide kitchen coverage as needed, including food preparation, meal service, cleaning, and other duties necessary to support daily school operations. Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions Assists in other capacities that Directors determine is necessary Requirements Multiple years experience in child care, including admin position Multiple years experience with curriculum (creating and implementing) Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative roles within an educational or childcare setting preferred Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic data entry skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse families and staff members Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions with parents and visitors Prior experience with front desk responsibilities, multi-line phone systems, filing systems, and proofing documents is preferred Personal assistant or calendar management experience will be advantageous for coordinating schedules efficientlyJoin us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
