The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. This role involves working with toddlers and preschool-aged children, providing them with educational experiences that promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Engage children in activities that promote their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the daycare setting. Requirements Early Childhood Education related field is preferred Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is essential. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Previous experience in nannying or similar child care roles is advantageous. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development in a daycare setting.
