Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education principles, ensuring each child's emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves. Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional intelligence. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall educational goals of the preschool. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education practices. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool is highly desirable. Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques for young children. Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage but not required.
