Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team, specializing in 2-year-olds or 3-year-olds. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment that supports the developmental needs of young children. This role is essential in fostering a love for learning and ensuring each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through structured activities and personalized care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Facilitate engaging activities that promote socialization, motor skills, language development, and curiosity Monitor and assess individual child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques and behavior management strategies Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing inclusive teaching practices Maintain detailed records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental milestones Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific educational techniques Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Background in early childhood education, childcare, nannying, babysitting, or related fields demonstrates strong foundational skills Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and classroom experience enhances effectiveness in this role Join our team to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives by providing compassionate care and inspiring early learning experiences.
