The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the diverse needs of all learners. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs. Foster early intervention strategies to support literacy education and childhood development. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children in care. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends. Qualifications Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is essential. Familiarity with Montessori methods, behavior management techniques, and literacy education is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including math and physical education. Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus. Knowledge of child welfare practices and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Previous experience in private schools or preschool settings is desirable.
