In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the holistic development of children from infancy through preschool age. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth is prioritized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education while working alongside a team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social skills Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to support positive interactions and discipline Conduct assessments of children's progress through standardized testing and observational techniques to inform instruction and support early intervention when needed Collaborate with families and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs, including special education considerations Incorporate early childhood education best practices such as toddler care, preschool activities, and child welfare principles into daily routines Plan engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on learning experiences, fostering creativity and critical thinking among students Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans in compliance with childcare regulations Support inclusive education by adapting teaching methods for children with diverse learning needs Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including Montessori or similar educational philosophies Experience developing curriculum content across core areas such as literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and student engagement Proven ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists in early intervention or special education programs Experience with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is advantageous Join us in shaping the future by fostering a joyful learning environment where every child can thrive!
