Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence in our littlest learners. In this dynamic role, you will lead a classroom dedicated to toddler care, fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will ensure each child receives personalized attention and support as they explore the world around them. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while working alongside a dedicated team of educators. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns Maintain accurate documentation of developmental milestones, attendance, and classroom observations Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting, specifically with toddlers or infants Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Classroom management skills to create an organized, engaging learning environment Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners!
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
