As a vital team member, you will help create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development and joyful learning. Responsibilities Assist in supervising and engaging children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Support classroom activities by implementing age-appropriate lessons and play-based learning experiences. Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children as needed. Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols diligently. Collaborate with lead teachers to manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions. Help with daily routines such as nap times, outdoor play, and snack times to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day. Support special needs children by applying inclusive teaching strategies and working closely with specialists when necessary. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of classroom management techniques to foster a respectful and engaging learning environment. Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations with First Aid certification preferred. Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, parents, and children effectively. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners in a busy daycare setting.
