The ideal candidate will have a solid background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of infants. The Infant Teacher will plan engaging activities, support daily routines, and partner with families to ensure each child thrives. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and sensory experiences. Provide a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where infants feel safe and supported. Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones, including social, language, and motor skills. Support healthy routines such as feeding, diapering, and napping while maintaining state health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, needs, and achievements. Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support children with unique needs or developmental delays. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom. Participate in professional development opportunities to strengthen teaching skills and knowledge of infant care and development. Requirements Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting required. Strong understanding of child development and best practices in infant care and education. Effective classroom management, nurturing care, and excellent communication skills with both children and parents. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Additional training in special education or supporting children with disabilities is a plus. Previous childcare experience such as nannying or babysitting may be considered. A genuine passion for teaching, patience, and dedication to the well-being of young children.
