Child Care Assistant Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities and positive interactions Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Support classroom management strategies to promote respectful behavior and cooperation among children Engage children in literacy education, math activities, and early childhood development exercises tailored to their age groups Work closely with children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily experiences Participate in ongoing training related to childcare best practices, behavior management, and curriculum development Preferable Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education strategies, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to plan age-appropriate lessons focusing on literacy education, math skills, and overall curriculum development Experience in toddler care, preschool environments, or Montessori methods is a plus Demonstrated ability to work patiently and compassionately with young children of diverse backgrounds Certification in childcare or early childhood education is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is expected Join us in creating a joyful learning space where every child feels valued and inspired!
