Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part-time Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will help play the foundation for their growth and development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory exploration, motor skills, and early communication. Provide attentive infant care by feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences. Support classroom management by supervising infants closely and managing behavior with positive guidance techniques. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements focused on childhood development and special education needs when applicable. Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, health protocols, and safety procedures related to daycare and infant care. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive discipline strategies. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally. Experience with caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and providing emotional support to infants. Ability to work part-time hours flexibly while maintaining a lively and energetic approach to caregiving. Pay:
$11.00 - $12.00 per hour
