Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GA Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, supporting early childhood education standards, and promoting positive behavior management strategies. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among students. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging learning experiences for preschool-aged children. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to foster positive conduct and address individual needs with patience and consistency. Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, developmental milestones, and behavioral concerns regularly. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and progress reports in compliance with licensing and program standards. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children in licensed daycare or private school settings. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and Montessori or similar educational approaches is preferred. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and special education accommodations to support children with diverse needs. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Previous experience in lesson planning, standardized testing preparation, tutoring, or working within early intervention programs is advantageous. bachelors degree or higher is required for this position.
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
