Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a vibrant, nurturing classroom environment. In this role, you will lead a dynamic early childhood education team, develop engaging curriculum plans, and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your passion for early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for children's lifelong learning journey while ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education. Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, social skills, behavior management, and emotional regulation among preschool children Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs through regular communication and progress updates Manage classroom routines, behavior strategies, and daily schedules to create a safe and engaging learning environment Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and inform instruction Supervise classroom staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality childcare and educational experiences Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with licensing standards Requirements Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting or daycare environment Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques such as behavior management strategies Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and literacy education methods Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners Certification in early childhood education or related field required; additional certifications in child welfare or special education are advantageous Demonstrated commitment to child safety, welfare, and inclusive teaching practices Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with a joyful learning experience that nurtures their curiosity and confidence!
