The ideal candidate will foster a love for learning while maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging daily lessons using the Abeka, Pinnacle, and Pebbles curricula Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment Monitor and assess children's developmental progress Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress Promote Christian values and positive character development Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Curriculum Our program incorporates a balanced approach using: Abeka Curriculum for academic readiness, phonics, reading, handwriting, and math Pinnacle Curriculum for social-emotional development, hands-on learning, and creative exploration Pebbles Curriculum for Bible learning, character education, and faith development Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field CDA, TCC, Associate's Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start regulations preferred Experience implementing classroom curriculum and lesson planning Ability to work collaboratively with families and staff Must pass all required background checks and meet state licensing requirements Strong understanding of child development Patient, kind, and nurturing Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills First aid/CPR certified
