Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. This vibrant role involves creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital part in fostering curiosity, supporting social-emotional development, and laying the foundation for future academic success. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help shape positive educational experiences for our preschoolers, ensuring they develop essential skills in a joyful and supportive setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to meet diverse learning needs. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports childhood development milestones. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance social skills, cognitive abilities, and motor development through hands-on learning experiences. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention strategies when necessary. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Incorporate specialized techniques for working with children with special education needs or those requiring additional support in early intervention programs. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Requirements Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in classroom or daycare settings is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education best practices. Experience with curriculum development that includes literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that foster curiosity and promote learning through play. Knowledge of classroom management strategies to maintain an organized and positive learning environment. Certification or training in early childhood education or preschool teaching credentials preferred; experience with special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Pay:
