Toddler Teacher

Overview Join our childcare team as a Toddler Teacher and help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support toddlers through daily routines, play-based activities, and early developmental milestones. Your care and attention will help children build social skills, independence, and basic learning foundations like recognizing letters, numbers, and routines. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with young children and being part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Supervise and care for toddlers in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment Plan and lead simple, age-appropriate activities such as playtime, arts and crafts, music, and storytime Assist children with basic learning such as colors, shapes, letters, and numbers through everyday activities Support potty training and help with diapering, feeding, and nap times Maintain consistent daily routines to help children feel comfortable and secure Encourage positive behavior, sharing, and social interaction among children Monitor children's development and communicate progress or concerns with parents Keep the classroom organized, sanitized, and in line with daycare policies Work with team members to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for all children Qualifications Experience working with young children in a daycare or childcare setting preferred Basic understanding of toddler development and behavior Patience, reliability, and a caring attitude Strong communication skills with both children and adults Ability to handle daily routines like feeding, diapering, and supervising play CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus Passion for helping young children learn and grow through everyday experiences Closing If you enjoy working with toddlers and creating a fun, caring environment where they can learn and grow at their own pace, this is a great opportunity to make a difference every day.
