Full Job Description:
Cozy Learning Center is looking for a Lead Teacher to manage a Infants classroom at our Hephzibah or Augusta location: 2731 Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815 - Cozy Childcare & Learning Center 1263 Augusta W Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30909 - Cozy West Learning Center A successful candidate will have experience in managing 1, 2 or 3-year-old classrooms. You should display a friendly and loving for demeanor, strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and parents. Salary is determined based on experience and education level.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children and parents Teaching, Managing, Planning, and Supervising kids and the classroom Setup classroom as per the monthly curriculum and theme Communicating with Colleagues & Families. Develop a relationship with parents. Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and other areas as assigned. Be a Team player, demonstrate flexibility and willingness to jump & help others Greeting kids and parents with a smile and positive attitude Answer and address phone inquiries as needed Open and Close center as needed Sign In / Sign Out kids from the classroom Taking payments from Parents as needed Great Customer Service Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times. Good Communication/Interpersonal skills Most important is being Dependable, Reliable, Positive, and Trustworthy Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred Bachelors or Associate degree in early childhood education. Either you already have CDA or TCC certification or are willing to complete CDA or TCC certification within 6 Months. We will cover the education expenses. 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility Obtain and maintain state in-service training requirements CPR and First Aid certified; or willing to obtain it within the first 90 days (we pay!) Able to lift to 30 pounds, and be able to see, hear, and respond to children's needs, including reaching high, stooping to the child's level, sitting on the floor, rising from the floor, and standing for long periods of time

Since we have to maintain Child, Teacher ratios, it's very important to be on time, consistent, flexible, and dependable. If you are someone who likes to call out, no call no show, take unexcused leave of absence, then please do not bother to apply.
