Full time childcare worker

Job description Our child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care Worker who has experience caring for children ages 12 months to 4 year olds. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Qualifications and skills:

High school diploma/GED required Preferred a CDA in Early Childhood (must if you are a lead) Preferred to have the 10 hours of training from Bright From the Start Health and Safety. (This is a must after 30 days of hire) 3+ years' child care experience Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications(if you don't have Our Shining Stars will provide the training with in the first 90 days) Caring and compassionate attitude a must Responsibilities and duties: Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during lunch time
