Infant Room Lead Teacher 8:00-5:00

Job Summary An Infant Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants (typically 6 weeks to 12-15 months). Childcare & Development Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and soothing infants Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment Support infants' social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and interaction Observe and track developmental milestones Curriculum & Planning Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily schedules Use play-based learning (music, sensory play, language activities) Adapt activities to meet individual child needs Classroom Leadership Lead and supervise assistant teachers or aides Maintain classroom organization, routines, and transitions Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations Administrative Duties Keep accurate records (attendance, reports, developmental notes) Attend staff meetings and trainings Follow center policies and procedures
