The ideal candidate will take pride in leading their classroom, building strong relationships with children and families, and implementing the goals and standards of the Georgia Pre-K program. Responsibilities:

Implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten. Develop and maintain engaging lesson plans aligned with GELDS standards and Georgia Pre-K requirements. Lead age-appropriate educational activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Build strong relationships with children and families while maintaining open communication regarding student progress and development. Conduct parent conferences and provide daily written or verbal updates as needed. Partner with the Center Director and/or Owner regarding parent communication and follow-up matters. Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and center operations. Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedules in accordance with center policies and Georgia Pre-K standards. Assist with additional duties and classroom support as assigned by management. Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field required. Valid Georgia P-5 Teaching Certificate required. Applicant MUST hold a valid T4, T5, T6 or T7 Georgia Teaching Certificate. Previous experience teaching in a licensed childcare center or Georgia Pre-K classroom required.
