Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will inspire young learners during their formative years, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, development, and joy. As a leader in the classroom, you will guide a team of educators, implement engaging curriculum plans, and ensure each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Your dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and success for our toddlers. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, creating a dynamic and supportive environment tailored to toddler development stages. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, promoting teamwork and professional growth. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports in compliance with licensing standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, specifically with toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Experience with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is valued; familiarity with infant care is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, team members, and community partners. Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements is great but not necessary.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
