Job Description

We are looking for a person who is responsible and attentive, and someone who truly enjoys spending time with children and working in a classroom environment. Our class sizes are small, and we're looking for a Preschool Teacher who can help engage children and help them grow and learn.
Responsibilities:
Use developmentally appropriate teaching methods. Love children and understand that they learn differently from adults. Know how to help children relax and feel confident in themselves. Know how to respond to children when they're upset, distracted, scared, sad, or angry. Encourage children to take risks and try new things. Recognize when a child has a problem and knows what to do about it. Be an effective communicator with children's caretakers and other teachers; demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the cultures of all the children in the program.
