In this role, you will inspire curiosity, support developmental milestones, and cultivate a love of learning in children aged three to five. Your passion for childhood development and classroom management will help create a safe, engaging space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Create a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect. Engage with children through hands-on activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, and educational games to support their cognitive and motor development. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress, including assessments. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with child welfare standards and daycare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior preschool experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education methods. Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners.
Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
