Job Description
Position Summary The part-time daycare instructor is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and leading classroom staff to support each child's developmental, social, and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Lead and support assistant teachers and aides in classroom activities Monitor and assess children's developmental progress and maintain accurate records Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing regulations Model appropriate behavior and classroom management techniques Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development All other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Certifications & Requirements Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check clearance in accordance with state licensing requirements Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 30 lbs, standing, bending, etc.) Part-Time Daycare Instructor 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Toccoa, GA 30577 Up to $15 an hour - Part-time Stephens County School District 3 reviews Up to $15 an hour - Part-time Position Summary The part-time daycare instructor is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.
