Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Director at a vibrant Child Care Center dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality educational experiences, and promote a safe, inclusive space for children, families, and staff. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing innovative curricula, managing staff, and advancing the center's mission to support early childhood development. Responsibilities Assist the Center Director in managing daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and organizational policies Support curriculum development initiatives that promote age-appropriate learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth for children Supervise teaching staff and classroom activities to maintain high-quality educational standards Lead strategic planning efforts to enhance program offerings, community engagement, and operational efficiency Oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and assist with fundraising efforts to secure resources for program sustainability Provide mentorship and supervision to staff members, fostering professional growth and a collaborative team environment Represent the center at community events and public speaking engagements to promote early childhood education initiatives Qualifications Proven experience in classroom teaching within early childhood or preschool settings Strong background in curriculum development and education administration Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff or managing teams Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and fundraising strategies for educational programs Excellent communication skills for public speaking and community outreach Ability to work effectively with children, families, staff, and community partners Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field; advanced degrees preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership can shape young lives while advancing your expertise in education management. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
