Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall development tailored to toddlers' needs Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, respectful environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage children in age-appropriate activities that develop fine motor skills, social skills, and early cognitive abilities Help with classroom organization, including setting up learning centers and cleaning up after activities Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and interests to inform future lesson planning and individualized support Foster effective communication with children through verbal interactions, storytelling, and active listening Support children with special needs or those with disabilities by implementing inclusive practices aligned with curriculum goals Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques Familiarity with curriculum development for toddlers, including Montessori or other child-centered approaches Experience working with children with autism or other disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Ability to follow detailed lesson plans while adapting to the dynamic needs of toddlers Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is advantageous Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing environment This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in early childhood education while making a positive difference in young lives.
