Floating Preschool Aide Make a Difference—Every Day, in More Than One Classroom Looking for a meaningful role working with children—with consistency and variety? Join our Kamaʻāina Kids ʻohana as a Floating Preschool Aide , supporting our Windward preschools in Kailua and Kāneʻohe. Kāneʻohe & Kailua Full-Time / Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Up to 40 Hours/Week In this unique role, you'll be part of a small, supportive team that works across 3 nearby preschool locations , helping classrooms run smoothly wherever you're needed most. One day you might be in Kailua, the next in Kāneʻohe—bringing your positive energy and care to different groups of keiki. What This Role Looks Like Work approximately 20-40 hours per week based on program needs Rotate between 3 preschools in the Windward area (Kailua & Kāneʻohe) Support classrooms with daily routines, activities, and supervision Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children Build relationships with different teams and age groups Why You'll Love This Role More consistent hours than a typical substitute role Higher pay for flexibility across locations Variety in your day—no two days are exactly the same Supportive team environment across multiple sites Opportunity to grow into a long-term role Start Here—Grow Your Career No professional experience? We provide:
Paid training and hands-on support CDA (Child Development Associate) at no cost Ongoing professional development and career pathways Qualifications At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED No professional experience required—we'll train you! Willing to travel between Kailua and Kāneʻohe locations Reliable and flexible with scheduling We're Looking for
Someone Who:
Enjoys working with young children and building connections Is positive, patient, and nurturing Is dependable and willing to jump in where needed Is open to learning and growing in early childhood education Brings energy and teamwork to every classroom Schedule Weekday daytime hours only ( no evenings or weekends ) Flexible schedule based on program needs 20-40 hours per week (meets eligibility requirements for benefits) Work across multiple sites within the Windward area
Pay & Benefits Competitive Pay:
