Early Childhood Teacher - Substitute/Floating

Foundations Learning Center is looking for a candidate that will work 8:30a-5:30p Monday through Friday as a substitute/floating teacher. They would be assigned a classroom or miscellaneous support tasks during their shift. This person should have experience working with children 6 weeks through 2 years of age.

Responsibilities:

Implement an overall curriculum for the classroom From the curriculum, implement units of study that include daily lessons Plan and create activities to reinforce the lessons Communicate with center leadership and with parents to meet each child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social needs Work closely with assistants and volunteers to create a safe and engaging learning environment Maintain records of the progress made by children and report this information to parents every 6 months Develop a plan with the director for professional growth and development
