About Us Fields of Fun is Cedar Rapids' trusted childcare center serving infants through school-age children (7th grade). With 10 classrooms, a large activity room, three age-rated outdoor play areas, and a massive open field, we've built a place where children genuinely thrive — and our staff loves coming to work. What You'll Do Provide nurturing, attentive care for children across age groups (infants through school age) Implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Communicate daily with parents through our Brightwheel app Collaborate with a supportive, passionate team What We Offer A fun, positive workplace culture where staff are valued Consistent Monday-Friday schedule (6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, shifts vary) Enrichment programs including Tippi Toes dance, literacy partnerships with the Ely Public Library, and more A team that feels like family What We're Looking For A genuine love for working with children Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred CDA or ECE coursework a plus — but we will train the right person
