Duties:

  • Lead and manage a classroom of students, providing a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and development
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall success of the program
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns `
Education and Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a lead teacher or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Experience working with students in a daycare or childcare setting
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
  • Knowledge of early intervention strategies for students with special needs
  • Proficiency in math concepts for early childhood education
