Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts. Supervise and engage children during playtime, activities, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and well-being. Foster a nurturing environment by providing emotional support and encouraging positive behavior management techniques. Monitor children's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and needs. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to plan special activities, educational outings, and developmental assessments. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral concerns. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with children and families. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and caregiving practices for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
