Full-time Teacher

Alice's Rainbow Childcare Center is a small non-profit childcare center near the hospital in Iowa City seeking a full-time teacher for our 2-5 year old classroom. We are looking for someone who is kind, energetic, patient, and dependable to help create a positive and supportive environment for young children. Experience working in a preschool or childcare center required.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily classroom activities Supervise and engage children during play and learning activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Support children's social and emotional development Communicate with parents about children's daily activities and needs

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, paid lunch break included in 8 hour shift No nights or weekends Holidays, spring break, and a week in December off (aligns with ICCSD dates) If you enjoy working with young children and want to be part of a supportive, small-team childcare center, we encourage you to apply!
