We have a Head Start Teacher position open in Manly and in Mason City. These are two seperate positions.

About Us:

Position Overview:

You will be a passionate and experienced Head Start Teacher that provides high-quality education to preschool-aged children, Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, during the school year. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

You will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with peers, students, and families to support each child's individual needs. You will work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment by developing and implementing engaging lesson plans with your classroom staff that align with Head Start standards. You will maintain a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion by fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. You will monitor and assess children's development progress by maintaining records. You will use your experience working with preschool-aged children to maintain a nurturing, welcoming environment for each child. You will use your education of at least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education to provide a variety of experiences that stimulate the children to explore and express their creative abilities.
