In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for young children, promoting their development through thoughtful activities and attentive care. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape positive early childhood experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development and learning. Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional growth. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily experiences. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care. Assist with classroom management to create an organized, welcoming environment conducive to learning. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm. Ability to engage effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
