Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the development of our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood education and supports toddlers' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help foster a love of learning while ensuring their safety and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the formative years of a child's life. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate early childhood development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and positive behavior management. Engage with children through interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on learning to support their social skills and emotional regulation. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support. Monitor each child's progress through observation and documentation; utilize standardized testing where appropriate to assess developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's growth, behavior, and classroom experiences to foster strong partnerships. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols in compliance with childcare regulations and best practices. Skills
IMPECCABLE RELIABILITY
Strong work ethic Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques. Experience in curriculum development tailored for toddlers, including literacy education, math skills, and Montessori approaches. Proven classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and create an engaging learning environment. Ability to work effectively with children requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists. Familiarity with childcare standards, daycare operations, and preschool experience is highly desirable. Competence in lesson planning, teaching physical education activities, and implementing behavior management strategies. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for early learners and experience in tutoring or individualized instruction when needed.
