Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part to Full-Time Infant/Floating Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. We are in need of applicants that can work until 6:30pm Monday-Friday . In this role, you will provide nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care and instruction for infants and young children. As a floating teacher, you will have the opportunity to support various classrooms, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for every child. This position offers flexibility to transition from part-time to full-time hours, fostering growth and stability within our caring community. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and explore. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care tailored to the individual needs of infants and young children in accordance with developmental milestones. Support classroom activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning, sensory activities, and social interactions. Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to implement curriculum plans that foster growth in areas like language, motor skills, and emotional regulation. Step into various classrooms as needed to ensure consistent supervision and support across different age groups. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Uphold all safety standards by practicing proper classroom management techniques, including behavior management strategies and emergency procedures like first aid. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster positive behavior through caregiving and behavior management techniques. Experience in working with children in nannying or babysitting roles is valuable. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively. A genuine passion for early childhood education, caregiving, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play.
