Child Care Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and educational sessions Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being Provide first aid and basic health care as needed, ensuring safety at all times Collaborate with lead teachers and specialists to support children with disabilities or special education needs Engage in ongoing training related to childhood development, behavior management, and caregiving best practices Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and daily experiences Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler activities Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that supports learning through play and positive interactions Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to nurturing young minds!
