Afternoon Childcare Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. TLC Preschool & Kindergarten is devoted to providing a nurturing environment in which children learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ. This individual must be able and willing to engage fully with young children, be patient, have good communication skills, open to constructive correction, pass an enhanced background check, and complete First Aid and CPR training. Responsibilities Engage and monitor young children. Work with other team members to provide a safe and loving environment. Engage with the children through activities, books, or games. Uphold the school rules and policies in personal conduct. Instruct and help the children in following school rules and policies. Be willing to correct behavior patiently. Requirements Prior experience working with young children is preferred, but not required. Ability to pass an enhanced background check. 16 years of age or older. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Flexibility to work afternoon shifts with the stamina for physically demanding tasks involved in caregiving roles Engage with parents, children, and staff in a respectful and professional manner.
