Daycare Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the daily care and development of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning Provide attentive care to children, including feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment Engage children in educational games, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor activities that stimulate creativity and social skills Monitor children's behavior and assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's daily activities and needs Requirements (Will need to be completed with in the first 90 Days of of employement) Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Pass a background finger print check

Pay:

$8.75 - $12.00 per hour
