Part-time Morning School Floater

NEA is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Morning School Floater to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a patient and nurturing personality who is passionate about supporting young children in a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning environment. As a Morning Floater, you will play an important role in supporting classroom teachers, supervising children, and helping maintain a positive school community. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, creative, approachable, and committed to providing excellent care and support to children, staff, and families. Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers in implementing NEA's educational program Ensure children are supervised at all times Help maintain organized, clean, and welcoming classrooms Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable presence throughout the school Qualifications Patient, nurturing, and dependable personality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Creative, flexible, and able to adapt to classroom needs Friendly and professional communication skills Experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or early childhood setting preferred CPR Certification preferred Associate degree preferred Benefits Paid vacation starting at 1 week and increasing with each year of tenure 1 week of paid winter holiday break 1 week of paid sick time Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan / Pension plan Paid staff development days Schedule Part-time Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 6.5-hour shift How to Apply If you are interested in our Ravenswood location, please email a copy of your resume to info@neweinsteins2.com .
