Discounts on travel, local activities, and more Qualifications (Per Illinois DCFS Licensing Requirements): To be considered teacher-qualified , candidates must meet one of the following: Be at least 19 years old AND Have 60 semester hours from an accredited college/university, with 6 hours in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development OR hold an Associate's or higher degree in ECE or a closely related field OR possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
