The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Preschool Teacher's Aide to join our team at our Lincoln Center location (935 Maple Ave, Downers Grove, IL) to assist with our preschool classrooms, ages 2-4. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a daycare or preschool setting and a passion for early childhood education. The Preschool Teacher's Aide will assist the lead teachers, supervise children, and create a nurturing and accepting environment for all students.

Pay:

The range for this part-time position is $18-$20 per hour.

Fitness Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training Schedule:

Part-time school year (mid-August through May) position (not to exceed 1000 hours). This position will be expected to work the following schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-1:45pm Tuesday, Thursday 11:00am-1:45pm Additional opportunities for floating hours or call-in substituting may be available outside of scheduled hours. Additional opportunities may be available during the summer months in the District's preschool day camp program.

Assist in developing and implementing lesson plans Supervise children and ensure their safety at all times Create a nurturing and accepting environment for all students Understand and appreciate the diverse backgrounds and needs of each student Assist in the development of each child's social, emotional, and cognitive skills Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations and needs

Qualifications:
