The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development of young minds, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Provide attentive care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Engage children in educational activities that promote language development, motor skills, and critical thinking. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices. Assist children with daily routines such as meals, nap time, and personal hygiene. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred. Background in toddler care or nannying is highly desirable. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. A degree or certification in early childhood education or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members.
