Position Summary As a Teacher at Kids Kampus , you will help create a vibrant and engaging classroom where children feel excited to learn every day. You will collaborate with a talented team of educators to design meaningful learning experiences that support each child's development. Our teachers enjoy lower teacher-to-child ratios than required by the state , allowing more time for connection, creativity, and individualized attention. Key Responsibilities Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Develop learning centers and activities that inspire exploration and curiosity Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children Encourage children to engage, discover, and problem-solve through play Collaborate with co-teachers to implement developmentally appropriate practices Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Follow all state licensing and program standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience in a licensed child care center or preschool preferred Currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education courses or willing to complete required coursework within one year of employment Ability to meet all state licensing requirements for Early Childhood Teachers Strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexible and reliable with scheduling Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly Ability to sit on the floor and actively engage with children Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform all duties required in an active early childhood classroom Benefits & Perks We believe our educators deserve support and opportunities to grow.
