Job Description

Katie's Kids is seeking a nurturing, collaborative, and passionate Infant Lead Teacher to join our Reggio-inspired early childhood program. This position is part of a co-teaching classroom where teamwork, communication, and relationship-based care are highly valued. Our infant classroom focuses on responsive caregiving, meaningful connections, and creating a beautiful environment where children are respected as capable learners from the very beginning. Teachers work closely together as primary caregivers to provide individualized care and strong relationships with both children and families.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary caregiver for a small group of infants Collaborate with your co-teaching team to create a calm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Plan and implement thoughtful, child-led learning experiences inspired by children's interests and developmental needs Complete weekly lesson planning and classroom documentation Maintain children's portfolios through observations, photos, and developmental reflections Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families Follow all licensing regulations and health/safety procedures including safe sleep practices Support infants' emotional, physical, cognitive, and social development through responsive caregiving
Qualifications:
Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Candidates MUST have 60 college credit hours with at least 9 in ECE. An associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for relationship-based and child-centered learning Organized, dependable, and team-oriented CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
