Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher annd Assist , in PERSON>. Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves overseeing classroom activities, supporting curriculum development, and fostering a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and special education, with a passion for early learning and child welfare. This position offers an opportunity to influence young learners' growth while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula tailored to various developmental stages Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote positive learning environments Collaborate with teachers to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Engage with children to support their social, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on activities Participate in early intervention programs and adapt teaching strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, including standardized testing results and individualized education plans (IEPs) Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and promote a safe, inclusive environment for all children Support teacher training initiatives and contribute to curriculum development efforts Assist in classroom setup, lesson planning, and maintaining an organized learning space Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience with special education, early intervention, literacy education, and Montessori methods preferred Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, parents, and community partners Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies in early childhood settings Knowledge of child welfare standards and best practices in daycare or private school environments Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or specialized instruction Experience working with physical education programs and integrating movement into daily routines This role is vital for shaping the educational experiences of young children while supporting the professional growth of teaching staff.
